Terre de Siam, Boutique of jewelry and ethnic objects from Southeast Asia
Originally from Laos and Vietnam, I have made several trips to these and neighboring countries to visit my family, visit, explore, discover…
Among my many travels, I was fascinated by local artisans, their ways of manipulating wood to create furniture, shaping jewelry, leather, and even their painting techniques.
Each handmade object and jewelry is unique due to its manufacture without any molding, using techniques passed down from generation to generation. Each piece then bears the unique imprint of the person who made it. So-called religious jewelry is made with total respect for Buddhist traditions.
With my family, we wanted to promote the craftsmanship and culture of these artisans from Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Indonesia with the aim of encouraging fair and ethnic trade.
Asian decoration and jewelry silver Handmade products are becoming more and more popular throughout the world with the arrival of Feng-Shui and other practices from Asia. So why not bring and highlight some unique creations made on the other side of the world? And this is how the online store was born Terre de Siam.
