Incense Burner Monk Meditation in Position Namaskara Mudra

The incense holder represents A monk in position namaskara-mudrā, symbol of respect, prayer, or homage. Also, the joined hands symbolize the unification of the two essential aspects of life, “the spiritual and the material”, or “the static and the dynamic”. 

The monk sits on a wave of water, on which a backflow incense cone (not included). The smoke from the incense will flow gently downwards in a cascade, creating a relaxing atmosphere conducive to meditation, reflection and relaxation.

How to use incense safely?

  • Place the incense in a suitable container (incense holder)
  • Light the incense then let it burn
  • Use in a healthy, ventilated room
  • Burn one incense at a time
  • Ventilate the room after use
  • Can be used occasionally on a regular basis
  • Avoid directly inhaling the smoke 
  • Adapt the burning time to the volume of the room (for example, a 13 cm incense stick - 30 min burning time - is suitable for a bedroom. For a smaller room, the toilet, you will need to cut the incense stick in half.)
